Practicing the power of influence.

Leadership Skills Events

Nebraska Leadership Skills Events (LSEs) provide FFA members with experience in the practice of influencing others through speaking and parliamentary procedure competitions.

Students compete at district-level LSEs in order to qualify for competition at State FFA Convention in the spring.  (Each District may qualify two students per event).  Check the calendar to see when and where districts compete.  Contact your district's FFA Board Representative for district-level event questions.

For those LSEs which are national-qualifying, the state-winning individual or team will represent Nebraska at National FFA Convention the following October.
