Farm to School resources webinar

Across Nebraska, farm to school is taking shape in Classrooms, Cafeterias, and Communities. Tribal partners have worked with the NDE to develop the Nebraska Harvest of the Month Indigenous Foods program and development of resources being used throughout classrooms, including FCS and Agriculture Education. Learn how isantee Community Schools is teaching about food sovereignty by using native plants to test Harvest of the Month (HOM) recipes with students and leveraging the HOM Indigenous Foods resources. Also hear success stories for these materials in schools across the state that participated in the Local and Indigenous Foods Training to expand student involvement in farm to school.
