Leadership Development Events

 

Nebraska FFA’s Leadership Development Events (LDEs) are designed to help members prepare for careers in agriculture. Classroom instruction comes to life as students compete and showcase their skills in public speaking, parliamentary procedure and demonstration.

FFA members compete at district-level LDEs in order to qualify for competition at the State FFA Convention in the spring. Each District may qualify three students/team per event. Contact your district’s FFA Board Representative for district-level event questions.

For those LDEs which are national-qualifying, the state-winning individual or team will represent Nebraska at the National FFA Convention the following October.
